The Abild design was created by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who for many years at the helm of Georg Jensen Damask was also the driving force behind design development. The vertical striped pattern is a design icon in the damask collection. Beautiful on its own, and also striking combined with other patterns or solid-colour dish towels.

In the colour Flint, it takes on an almost dramatic look, with the stripes standing out clearly against the elegant dark grey background—both practical and beautiful in the kitchen.

• Wash at 60°C.
• For coloured products, we recommend detergent for coloured textiles without bleach to best preserve the colours.
• Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for approx. 24 hours. This helps the fibres straighten out and ensures high absorbency from the start.
• Unfold the product completely before soaking and washing, and avoid overfilling the machine, as this results in a smoother product.
• We recommend line drying.
• For a smooth, glossy finish, ironing is recommended.
