High in flavanols

The gentle low-temperature process helps the cocoa beans retain up to six times more flavanols than comparable products with the same high cocoa content. At the same time, coconut and coconut sugar lift the chocolate to a level beyond the ordinary.

All Ombar bars are sweetened with unrefined coconut sugar, which is rich in minerals and has a low glycaemic index of 35. Coconut sugar is made from nectar from coconut blossoms.

Ombar is a source of magnesium and manganese.
